Public workshops

November 2008

A series of  9 public workshops to provide an opportunity for local people to contribute towards and participate in the development of the Totnes & District Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP) 2009 - 2030.

The EDAP is an innovative plan that will assist the community in reducing its reliance on oil by building on our individual and  collective strengths towards a more locally focused and resilient society.   Each themed workshop will focus on key topic areas of the plan.  Persons interested in more than one topic area are very welcome to attend all workshops of interest to them.  Please see the individual notices for more details about each workshop.  Bring YOUR views and ideas for actions and projects towards reducing our energy usage.

Please see below for snapshots of information about the individual workshops.  For the schedule of workshops please click here.  For more general information about the workshops and how they will feed into the Energy Descent Action Plan, please click here.  For more information about the individual workshops follow the links from the snapshots.

The workshops will be informal and enjoyable and all are welcome to come along. If you wish to bring a group of 10 or more persons to attend one workshop please telephone in advance to ensure we can accommodate your group.  Please help us to publicise these workshops by copying this notice to your friends, neighbours & colleagues.  All Welcome - entry free
