Things we need
This is a list of things we currently need for our outreach activity
We update it regularly(ish) and attached below is the same list as a word document so you can print it out and take it with you when you next go shopping.URGENT NEED!!
HELP! WE NEED A TENT!
We have an 8m by 8m plot to host our programme of fun and games at the Totnes show next week but only a few scraps of canvas to cover it. If you own or have access to a big tent, please contact Hal on 01803 868416.
AND WE NEED CAKE!
Renewable energy installations
We are hoping to compile a register of people in the Totnes area who have installed solar water heating, PV, wind turbines or other renewable energy source, at home or at their business premises, and who would be willing to show people their installation and share their experience. Clearly, visits by interested groups or individuals would be occasional and at the convenience of the owner of the installation.
Research opportunities for students and academics
This page describes how we can best support your research and how you can help the Transition model to evolve. We increasingly receive enquiries from students wanting to make various aspects of Transition work the subject of their studies, and from academics who are interested in collaboration.
Building a compost loo
We have been volunteered to build a compost loo in the Castle Meadow allotments.
This will probably be a straw bale construction around a timber frame.
Come to the eco-construction sub group to find out more
Meanwhile, here is a little song (on YouTube)
