Opportunities for questions and discussion.
Rising fuel prices means it makes good financial as well as environmental sense to improve the energy efficiency of your home - but how?

Solar Water Heater meeting 19.6.08
Meeting of the solar water heater challenge with the installer Gabriel Wondraush of SunGift Solar

Brief outline of sungift solar as a company
Main office in Exeter and small office in Totnes, 2 fully trainer installers who work for them.
They have been going for 2 years and accredited with the UK-microgeneration scheme to allow the low carbon building programme grants and members of the solar trade association, the renewable energy assurance listing, Devon cc trading standards buy with confidence scheme.
Renewable energy installations
We are hoping to compile a register of people in the Totnes area who have installed solar water heating, PV, wind turbines or other renewable energy source, at home or at their business premises, and who would be willing to show people their installation and share their experience. Clearly, visits by interested groups or individuals would be occasional and at the convenience of the owner of the installation.

Good Energy
Transition Town Totnes is based on us creating a vision of how we can live sustainably in Totnes and environs. It is also about achieving that vision one step at a time. Good Energy supplies only 100% renewable electricity from the natural, sustainable energy of wind, sun, or running water. We in the Energy group of TTT urge you to sign up to Good Energy as the simplest and most effective way you can make the biggest cut in your carbon footprint, and it may not cost you anything!
