TTT is looking for a volunteer to help manage and improve its website
The TTT website as it stands does a good job, and generally does what we need - providing information about events, groups, projects, contacts and the monthly bulletin which rounds up all recent TTT going-ons. We are currently re-designing the home page to make it more readable and interesting.
However there is much potential for the website to become more than it is now, including use of forums; analytics to better understand web traffic and what visitors are looking for; support for those who author the content; design help to make content look better; investigation of what the users would like to have and so on.
Ideally the first step is creation of an overall web strategy that pulls all of this together in a co-ordinated way, and that reflects the website as a cornerstone of the TTT communications/outreach strategy (work to define the comms/outreach strategy is now getting underway).
If you have the skills, time and inclination to take any or all of this on in the role of TTT Website Co-ordinator, plus bring along your own ideas of course, then we would love to talk to you. You do not need to be particularly technical yourself, though some understanding of website design or development is essential, ideally along with the ability to set-up and run a small project. The TTT website use DRUPAL opensource technology. There is a small team of volunteers working on the website already that would work with you.
Please contact Fiona Ward (Transition Training and Consulting) on fionawardttt@googlemail.com or 07922 165 564, using email preferably. Many thanks!
